Durand Cooperative and Mondovi Co-op Equity Association consolidated on September 1, 1998 to form a new cooperative named "Countryside Cooperative."

Countryside Cooperative is the west-central Wisconsin's premier member-owned cooperative, dedicated to service and committed to success, governed by integrity, and driven by a passion of excellence towards a future without boundaries. As an agricultural cooperative, we are owned and controlled by its members-patrons-owners that work together for the common good of their community.

Profits from the Countryside Cooperative are returned to its member-patrons-owners in proportion to the amount of their patronage.

Service for our customers and to quality employees gives us an enviable position for the future. We will proceed forward with the same consideration and concern for our patrons as our predecessors have shown us in the past years. Patrons throughout all these communities have contributed to our continual building process to achieve what we had in the past, present and in the future.

Throughout additional consolidations, mergers, and/or acquisitions, it has allowed these four well-established cooperatives (Durand Cooperatives, Mondovi Coop Equity, Augusta Farmers Union & Goldstar Cooperative) – now known as “Countryside Cooperative” to exceed patron-owner expectations by profitably providing needed products and services, and positive customer experiences, to the farmers, homeowners, and business communities of western Wisconsin.

Countryside Cooperative now serves the communities of Amery, Baldwin, Blair, Durand, Elmwood, Ellsworth, Fall Creek, Foster, Glenwood City, Gilmanton, Luck, Milltown, Mondovi, King's Valley (Osseo), New Richmond, Pepin, Pigeon Falls, Rock Falls, Strum, Spring Valley, and Whitehall.
